Y3 and Y4 Boccia Tournament

The Tutbury Sports Leaders did a fantastic job of running the Year 3 and Year 4 Boccia tournament this week. It was great to have so many students involved in the event, from six of our first schools. Well done to all the competitors!

Basketball

It was great to see so many students from the middle schools playing competitive basketball last week. Our Windsor Park teams played brilliantly, scoring plenty of baskets and winning lots of matches. Thank you to TAHS for hosting and refereeing the games.

Y7 County Cup Football

Year 7 played against Robert Sutton in the County Cup football competition. The team played brilliantly and demonstrated resilience to battle until the end. Unfortunately, we lost the game 4-3 but it could have gone either way. Well done to all the students involved who showed great character!

Windsor’s Got Talent

The students had a fabulous time at ‘Windsor’s Got Talent’, with acts ranging from singing and dancing to music performances and comedy. Well done to everyone who took part.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter

Y6 students had a fantastic day exploring at The Warner Brothers studio tour. They had the chance to step onto iconic sets like the Great Hall and Diagon Alley, discover how the special and visual effects teams made Harry and his friends fly, and spot their favourite props and costumes from the Harry Potter films.

Cross Country

Well done to all our cross country runners who competed in the district competition. Mrs White was very proud of how hard the students worked, especially in the tough conditions. Congratulations to the students who have qualified to represent East Staffs in the county championships.
