Two of our Y8 boys took part in the ‘Staffordshire Middle Schools Spelling Bee’ at Walton Community Centre in Stone. Congratulations to all the participants for their effort and achievement.

Y5 trip – Thinktank Science Museum

The year 5’s had a wonderful day at the Thinktank science museum in Birmingham. They explored The Science Garden, The Planetarium – Earth & Beyond, We Made it, Our World and the Spotlight Space Vault

Easter Cake competition and sale

The students made some fabulous cakes for our Easter cake competition. A huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to bake and decorate cakes, to everyone who bought cakes at lunchtime and a huge thank you to our wonderful canteen staff and student canteen ambassadors for facilitating it!

Y5 Netball Tournament

The Y5 netball team travelled to Denstone College to play in a tournament. The students played some fantastic netball and remained undefeated in their pool, making it through to the semi-finals. World Book Day – Book Swap

Pupils were asked to bring in a book that was no longer needed at home. Each pupil had the opportunity to go to the hall and choose a different book, helping to promote the love of reading and literacy.

World Book Day

Students and staff dressed up to celebrate their love of reading for World Book Day. Student’s shared their homework projects and enjoyed the book quizz . The work they put into these was amazing. Well done everyone.
