What an evening of cup final football!
While the result wasn’t the one they had hoped for, the boys left everything on the pitch and represented Windsor Park with pride, determination and teamwork throughout.
The Year 6 football team took to the field at Stafford Town F.C. to compete in the County Cup Final.
Facing a talented side who were recently crowned national champions, the Windsor Park boys rose to the challenge and played some excellent football. Charlie produced a number of outstanding saves in goal, the defence battled tirelessly, the midfield worked relentlessly, and the team created some fantastic attacking opportunities.
Despite a performance they should be proud of, the match finished 4–2. The boys can be incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they conducted themselves on such a big occasion. They were a credit to the school from start to finish.
