Worship Team
Here at Windsor Park Middle School, we are privileged to have a dedicated Worship Team who play a vital role in nurturing and leading our school’s spiritual life. Each form group has members who feed into the Worship Team, ensuring that every form is represented and that our worship reflects the voices of our whole school community.
The Worship Team meet every Thursday morning during form time to plan and prepare for their many projects. These students have volunteered for this special responsibility and form a key part of the foundation of our school’s Christian ethos. The worship team has many opportunities including supporting form tutors to lead form worship, opening and occasionally leading our weekly whole-school collective worship, and help to embody our school vision and core Christian values in all that they do.
In addition to their regular worship commitments, the team help to coordinate our school services held at our local Church of England parish church, St Mary’s in Uttoxeter. The team are also involved in a range of projects, including maintaining our outdoor prayer space, organising fundraising activities, and working collaboratively with other worship teams across our I2E family and the wider area.
Through their dedication, creativity, and service, the Worship Team continue to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to the spiritual life of Windsor Park Middle School, enriching the experience of both students and staff alike.
Our worship leaders say:
‘I enjoy being part of the worship team because I enjoy helping others, and helping teach the younger students about our core values…’
‘I love being part of the worship team because I like to help teachers deliver prayer and reflection, and I like helping our school fundraise for charity...’
‘I think being part of the worship team is important because you get to help other students, and we get to take part in fun activities together as a team...’
