A team of year 5 and year 6 students took part in a football tournament at Burton Albion. They started off a little nervy but soon settled in and finished top in the league table that consisted of 8 schools. They progressed to the semi final, which was a great game which went to penalties. Our keeper made a fantastic save and our three penalty takers scored theirs with ease. The team went on to dominate the final 2-0 and came away overall winners of the tournament. We have now progressed to the regional finals which is a great achievement!
Well done to all the team, Mr Hedley is proud of all the boys, who played amazing football and demonstrated the school values.
